All rights to the content, photography and the website belong to us, or our third-party content providers and are protected by the copyright, trademarks, and/or other intellectual property rights of the UK, US and other countries. We may license third parties to use the Content at our sole discretion.
All material included on our website and our courses is solely for individual use and benefit and not for resale or any transfer to any other person or entity. You may not use, reproduce, modify, transfer or distribute any content for commercial purposes, nor in any manner that may compete with our business.
We reserve the right to access and monitor password-protected information, including any information which you upload or input and any information concerning your activities in relation to a service or any content, in order to fulfil our obligations, to protect or comply with our legal rights and obligations and for other purposes as set out in our privacy statement and all in accordance with the terms of our privacy statement. We may also use cookies and similar technical tools as set out in our privacy statement to collect information about your visit to our site and display advertisements that may be of interest to you and for such other purposes as are set out in our privacy statement. All website and general course content is made available for your general information and use and is not intended to address your particular requirements unless otherwise stated.
All products and services by our company are for educational and informational purposes only. Your level of success in attaining any stated ideas or strategies in our courses or on our website is dependent upon a number of factors including your time and commitment. Because these factors differ according to individuals, we cannot guarantee your specific success or results. As stipulated by law, we make no guarantees that you will achieve any specific results from our information or courses and we offer no medical advice. The information contained herein cannot replace or substitute the services of trained medical professionals or therapists. You alone are responsible and accountable for your decisions, actions and results in life, and by your registration and use of our courses or website at any time, you agree not to attempt to hold us liable for any such decisions, actions or results, at any time, under any circumstance.
Refunds
If we establish the course is not suitable for you following completion of the intake document, then you will be refunded in full.
In all other cases, it is possible to obtain a refund up to seven before the course begins. The payment processing administration fee (administered via Stripe) is non-refundable. After this time it will not be possible to receive a refund. But there are, of course, exceptional circumstances and I will consider these on a case by case basis.
Privacy Statement
Your personal information and other information is collected by One Life Mindfulness (referred to herein as “we” and “our”) and this document explains our practices regarding the collection of information that can personally identify you and/or your company.
Consent to collection and use of your information
If you give us or we hold your personal information, this indicates that you consent to our using it, and we will treat it, in accordance with this policy. We respect your privacy and the choices you make about how you want us to contact you.
We comply with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when dealing with all data received from individuals.
We collect the following types of information:
Personally, Identifying Information. We may collect personal contact information such as your name, address, contact details including your e-mail address and telephone number.
Account Information. This relates to billing information.
Payment Processing Data We use third-party payment providers (STRIPE) to handle payment processing data securely. In accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) any other data is only used to process your purchase securely. In accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need to retain data related to all purchases to fulfil our existing legal obligations.
Backup & Data Storage For administrative reasons, customer data and email subscription data may be passed and stored securely with third party service providers located outside the EEA (European Economic Area). This is done to back up and preserve your data where it is needed to carry on offering a service to you.
Transactions. We maintain records which show the courses and services you have requested and/or been supplied. Information about particular transactions is maintained in our databases in the same or similar manner as such information is maintained for transactions which are done by telephone, fax, etc.
E-mail Correspondence. Your e-mail address is used to raise and respond to issues and inquiries of all types and to keep in contact with you generally. It is also used to distribute information about us and market our products and services as mentioned below.
Uses of your personal information We will use your personal information for normal business purposes such as fulfilling purchase orders, to communicate with you about our services, the uses set out below and other uses reasonably contemplated at the time we collected the information.
We will also use it to provide you with marketing and promotional materials of, including; our courses, products, newsletter, events or information we think might be of interest to you.
We may also use personal information to help us make decisions like: product development or to improve quality of customer service.
In the event of any prospective or actual merger, business sale or re-organisation we may share personal information with the other party or parties involved in the course of such merger, business sale or re-organisation negotiations or processes and transfer such personal information to the merged entity or any member(s) of it, the business acquirer or the relevant party(ies) following reorganisation.
By giving your personal information to us you unambiguously, freely and with full knowledge of what we may use your personal and other information for, agree that we may collect and use such personal information and other information in accordance with the terms and conditions of this policy. Where the law requires you to opt-in before we can use your personal information for any particular purpose we will not use your personal information for such purpose unless you give opt-in consent for it.
Retention of your Information The personal information you provide is retained for only as long as there is a legitimate business, insurance or legal requirement to do so. We may store your personal data for up to 10 years. We may remove information when it becomes out of date or inaccurate or when appropriately requested by you (subject to any legal duty we may have to preserve it).
Protection of your information We protect the personal information you share with us. Access to your personal information is limited only to our employees, and/or authorised third parties who need it for or in relation to the purposes referred to in this Privacy Policy including, without limitation, third-party contractors. To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure proper use of your information, we and our IT contractors and sub-contractors have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
Third parties and your Information Except as specifically described in this Privacy Notice Policy, we will not, without your specific prior consent, sell, trade or transfer your information to third parties other than authorised third parties (such, for example, contractors operating our IT services) and others involved in the supply and distribution chain (e.g., vendors, suppliers), which may need access to some of your personal information. We oblige such third parties to comply with our privacy policy and limit their access and use of your personal information. Disclosures required by law Occasionally, we may be required by law enforcement, government contract administrators, and/or judicial authorities to provide personally identifiable information to the appropriate governmental or regulatory authorities under applicable law or regulation. We will disclose personally identifiable information upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or if required to cooperate with law enforcement investigations. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful to the extent permitted by law.
Children’s Privacy We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
Accessing, rectifying, blocking and Updating Information Please notify us of any changes in your name, address, title, telephone number or e-mail address. You can correct your personally identifiable information yourself by contacting us with a request for your change. You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, because we keep track of certain transaction information, such as past purchases, and other similar information, for legal compliance purposes (including company bookkeeping), we may not be able to delete certain information. If information we hold appears to be inaccurate we will block its use until the position is verified to our satisfaction.
You may also ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you/your company, at no additional cost.
